Purchase clause: Machinery Regulation

Add it to purchase orders for machines placed on the market or put into service from 20 January 2027.

Machinery and related products delivered under this order that are placed on the market or put into service from 20 January 2027 shall comply with Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery. The supplier shall provide the EU declaration of conformity referring to that Regulation and the instructions for use in [language].

For partly completed machinery, the supplier shall provide the EU declaration of incorporation and the assembly instructions.

How to use it

  1. Send the clause to your purchasing team for their order templates.
  2. Fill in the language of the instructions your sites need.
  3. Check the declaration of conformity when the machine arrives, before it is put into service.
